Wow! It is an exciting time to be a Christian and even more exciting to be involved in the work of God! There is something "brewing" in the spirit realm and I don't know what it is but I do know it is good! I feel like I am sitting at the base of a volcano and the tremors are telling me that an explosion is on the way! I realize that the devil is busy doing what he does best. I know that many including myself have been personally attacked physically and spiritually in the last month. This only tells me that God has great plans for us and the devil knows it! I am believing that what God does through us will not only effect our city but our world! Yes it has been prophesied more than once that LOC would be used for a worldwide influence in the gospel. We have already been blessed to participate in several international ministry projects and support several full-time missionaries. I feel that God is raising us up to be a giving church that will impact the needs our community. This week as we enter a time of revival and renewal I would like to encourage you to pray before you get to church that God would speak to us both as individuals and corporately. Be sensitive during services to what the Spirit of God is doing. Remember the two types of worship? Sometimes God will be leading us in a "wing tip to wing tip" experience (praise) and there may be times where He wants us to seek Him more intimately in a "face to face" (worship) experience. Do not be afraid of silence when in God's presence. Sometimes this can bring the most intimate experiences with Him. Today is a day to consecrate to God. Lay aside the idols and anything that would hinder you from receiving His best!
